Open Lunar Foundation / Open Moon Projects / Open Universe Projects

Commit to enable earth humans to live and work on the Moon by 2030 in non-profit, peaceful and cooperative ways for the benefit of all life.

The Moon is roughly the size of the continent of Africa.

Scientists think there could be up to a billion metric tons of water ice on the Moon. That's greater than the size of Lake Erie in North America and enough water to support perhaps hundreds of thousands of people living and working on the Moon.

Replace bad politics with many good social technologies.

In fact, it's not the hardware at all. It's the software. It's the norms, customs and laws.

Replace systemic inequalities with social equality for all individuals regardless of sex, gender, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, origin, caste or class, income or property, language, religion, convictions, opinions, health, disability or species. Social equality is related to equal opportunity.

Don't we have enough existential threats here on Earth? Bad internet governance, pandemics, terrorism and, perhaps most importantly, climate crisis and biodiversity loss.

The universe is about 13.8 billion years old.
If you have that enormous amount of time and that enormous number of planets,
then it seems to think that we're not the only life in the universe.
It doesn't sound logical either if we are the only life in the universe.
