Open OBS Studio program
OBS Menu > File > Settings
Left menu > Advanced
Go to the section Recording
Tick the box: Automatically remux to mp4 (record as mkv). This ticked box will automatically convert from mkv to mp4 when you record as mkv where mkv is the recommended video file format.
